Red Squadron Nicolas Checque
Nicolas Checque was a highly decorated U.S. Navy SEAL and an elite operator within the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (Red Squadron). After graduating high school in 2002, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and successfully completed the grueling BUD/S training to earn his Trident. During his distinguished 10-year career (2002–2012), Checque served with West Coast-based SEAL teams before being selected for the elite ranks of DEVGRU, operating at the "tip of the spear" during the height of the Global War on Terror.
As a core member of Red Squadron, Checque was part of a high-tempo deployment schedule, participating in numerous sensitive and high-stakes counter-terrorism missions. His service was defined by ultimate selflessness; on December 8, 2012, he was mortally wounded during a daring nighttime raid that successfully rescued an American hostage in Afghanistan. Posthumously awarded the Navy Cross for his extraordinary heroism, Checque remains a deeply respected and legendary figure within the special operations community.





Gold Squadron Nicholas Null
Nicholas Null was a highly decorated U.S. Navy SEAL and an elite operator within the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (Gold Squadron). Enlisting in the U.S. Navy in 2000, he successfully completed the grueling BUD/S training to earn his Trident. During his distinguished 11-year career (2000–2011), Null served with East Coast-based SEAL teams before being selected for the elite ranks of DEVGRU, operating at the "tip of the spear" during the height of the Global War on Terror.
As a core member of Gold Squadron, Null was part of a high-tempo deployment schedule, participating in numerous sensitive and high-stakes counter-terrorism missions. His service was defined by ultimate sacrifice; on August 6, 2011, he was killed in action when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter, call sign Extortion 17, was shot down during a critical reinforcement mission in Wardak Province, Afghanistan. Extensively decorated for his valor, including multiple Bronze Star Medals, Null remains a deeply respected and legendary figure within the special operations community.
