(Nov. 22, 1989 12 AM) Pentagon sent Delta Force to El Salvador on Tuesday as Americans were trapped in a San Salvador hotel seized by guerrillas. Officials said their role was advisory. The siege ended later Tuesday; Delta's involvement was unclear.
